Customer experiences
would like to sincerely thank Nurse **Sofia Thomas ** from Emirates Hospital for the outstanding care and support she provided me today. From the very first moment, she treated me with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. Her professionalism and gentle approach made me feel comfortable and well taken care of in every step of the process. It is rare to come across someone who combines medical expertise with such a warm and understanding personality. Nurse Sofia went above and beyond in making sure that all my needs were met, and for that I am truly grateful. Thank you, Nurse Sofia, for your excellent service and for being a true example of dedication and humanity in the nursing profession.
I am deeply grateful for the exceptional postnatal care I received at the Ayurvedic Department of Emirates International Hospital under the supervision of Dr. Thasneem & Dr. Ameena and their team of skilled therapists (especially Sr. Ani & Sr.Silin) The customized massage therapies were highly effective in relieving muscle soreness and promoting overall comfort during my recovery. What truly sets this team apart is not only their expertise but also their compassion and professionalism. Dr. Thasneem and her therapists took the time to explain each treatment, addressed all my questions with patience, and ensured I felt supported and cared for throughout. I highly recommend this center to any new mother seeking professional, holistic, and nurturing postnatal care.
I had bad experienced with this hospital’s staffs and management. First : I was hospitalised for 3 days last month due to Gestroenteritis and colitis with symptoms of abdominal pain, fever, vomitting and watery diarrhea. Dua to dehydration i was on iv drips for continuous 24 hours. And due to watery diarrhea and iv drips I had to go to washroom every few hours, whenever I was pressing calling button to call nurse to remove iv cannula so I can go to washroom, but they always take time to see patients if alarm buzzing whenever I pressed button to call nurse they took time 20 -25 mins to come to patient room, and if patient have issue of constant watery diarrhea no one can come on time , and nobody can control watery diarrhea and early morning due to their shift duty timing change she took more than 30 minutes to came to my room till d time my clothes got dirty twice , nursing staffs don’t care if patient is calling mean something is urgency, after this happened in day time also same thing happened whenever I had to go to washroom no one came on time then i tried my self stopped iv drip n removed iv cannula but it didn’t work so then I had to took whole iron iv drip stand with me in the washroom. I asked nurse why when ever I call no one come on time she said there are 24 patients on the same floor and only 3 nurses are there to handle it ,we need to check icu patients as well . So it takes time. you can complain about it to management department to increase staff as she said. Second : when ever we do blood tests or other tests in this hospital, no one bother to send test reports to patients, every time patient personally have to call in the hospital and ask and give request for their reports. In other hospitals like NMC , mediclinic or Burjeel they send you message to patient’s registered WhatsApp no. Or email or sms that your reports are ready you can check or view through this link or to in their mobile application or on registered email . In emirates international hospital patients give blood tests prescribed by doctors test reports get ready on mostly same day or next day but patient don’t get any notification from hospital that your reports are ready now you can view or consult the doctor nothing . If there is something serious illness to the patient , patient do not aware of it . Patient personally have to call in the hospital ask for their reports. Third : I visited yesterday again to consult doctor, doctor prescribed me more tests and I went to room no. 1 (blood samples collection room) around 3 pm no one was there in the room , right side there was one of nurse she told me keep your card at the desk of technician who collect blood sample n wait out side she will come n call you but after waited 15 minutes no one called me , then I went inside there was Arabic technician who was sitting on the chair and scrolling her mobile and when I asked her my card I left on your desk and I have been waiting for you since 15 minutes. She said ok sit on the chair then after more than 7 minutes I asked her why you are making me to wait , I have been waiting 15 minutes out side you were not there and now I came to you again you are making me to wait, she replied my duty finished another technician will see you , what ? Why you didn’t inform me that you have to wait till another technician comes , I told her I want go home I was on fasting to give blood test I didn’t have food anything ,guess what she replied oh I also want to go home my duty khalas finished she rudely replied to me ,she had time to take my blood but she was busy in scrolling n screening her mobile and after another Arabic nurse came both were talking each other in Arabic language , means forget about they care patients or their duties even they don’t have humanity. Blood sample collection hardly takes 2-3 mins. But their attitude are very bad and not even experienced technicians. I had given blood sample many times in this hospital indian and philipilnes are better experienced and polite. Hospital management needs to improve and solve these issues.
The Physiotherapy department here is amazing with their latest equipments. My mother got her therapies with Dr. Samiya, who has a very friendly and compassionate personality. She explains the exercises so well and makes sure that her patients feel positive. I'll recommended patients to book their sessions with Dr. Samiya.
