Been going to this hospital and Glenview one for 8 years now. Never had any issues and staff has always been friendly. Shoutout to emergency room staff had to go in today on 10/21 Tony one of the security members is super friendly and helpful! Nurses and physician were helpful and all friendly. Kudos to all the workers who continue to help everyone! Don’t expect a fast process in ER esp on days when there’s a lot of folks since they order you based on severity. A long wait will def suck so just an fyi

If my rating were solely based on my interaction with the front desk, I’d give 0 stars. While the nurses, doctors, and even security personnel I interacted with were extremely kind, caring, and helpful, the same can’t be said for the desk staff. Specifically Timothy at the front desk in the Cardiovascular Department was beyond rude and condescending. He mistakenly thought my insurance was Medicaid and decided that meant he could treat me like the dirt under his shoe, down to insisting my insurance is inactive and I must be lying about being insured in the first place. As if I forged my insurance card? He tried to cancel my appointment for being “late” even though I was on time and the delay was due to his many errors and time spent harassing me. This is despite me telling him I would simply pay out of pocket and deal with my insurance later BEFORE it got “too late” for them to honor my appointment. I also witnessed him barking orders at his female coworkers and the elderly patients coming and going while I waited. I can’t even begin to imagine how he’d treat someone who did actually have Medicaid or presented as someone not financially well off, or looked some way he didn’t like. If you can’t have compassion for every person that comes through your office regardless of race or class status, Timothy, don’t work in healthcare!

I had to go to the ER after being referred from urgent care for severe nausea, vomiting, and dehydration. There was a bit of a wait, but they got me back as soon as they could and started me on fluids and medicine immediately while they were getting my room ready. The doctors and nurses were so kind and listened to me, and they checked on me frequently. I am so grateful to have had such superior care and would highly recommend this location!

This past Saturday, Sep 6, 2025, my wife took me to the ER. The triage nurses, took my vitals right away. I had to wait 1 1/2 to get CT scan and a bed. Once I saw Dr. Melissa Hoshizaki, she was able to diagnose my symptoms. She was kind, listened to me, and expressed emotion when she laughed at a funny comment. Before my discharge, gave me name of doctor to follow up care, and was able to help me with my condition. Thank you to the staff this past Saturday.
