Needed a new RF gun for our store so I contacted Kim Vaughn and went through the steps to make sure the one ordered was compatible. She had me check what version of software we had to match the RF gun and printer. We got the gun and printer and they were not compatible with our system even though she assured me the one ordered would be compatible. They were supposed to send an RMA label that we never received and we never received our $2000 dollar credit. She did not even bother to tell us that we could order a refurb for $500. She never returned calls or emails to correct the situation. She is very deceptive as a sales person. Looking to switch to NCR because of the over priced equipment and dishonest sales people.
Support takes forever to resolve issues. And all tech support is farmed to India unless you escalate a ticket. You will also pay way more than you should for this software per year. It feels like a scam sometimes, especially with the terrible resolution time for tickets. Use QuickBooks instead.
I have requested to be removed from this companies mailing list so many times I have lost count. I get a weekly phone call, just checking in. I have told them over and over that I choose to use Quick books Enterprise over a year ago. I just got another phone call from a sales agent trying to learn about my business. I am going to lose it on the next person that calls me. I am a business owner and I am busy! Stop bugging me. Stop calling me. Stop emailing me. Beware, do not give this company contact info.
Very expensive, continuous upgrades requiring more $$$, monthly maintainance plan costing several hundred dollars a month. Sofeware does not work well without maintainance plan, always having to call help desk. Software is such you cannot problem solve yourself. Losing sales due to software issues. Helpdesk tells us to purchase more equipment/software to solve problem. Which is very expensive. We are a small hardware store. Original cost over 60k, costs about 10k a year to maintain. Stay away!!!
