Edited to add the unprofessionalism- after all of this she blocked me on Facebook and locked my phone number so I couldn’t continue to reach out to her for assistance on a fix. Wish I never paid her. Worse than a box dye job Chelsea Chester ruined my hair. My whole life I’ve had highlights. I texted her ages getting a recommendation that she Specializes in blondes. We briefly texted about what I was looking for and I made an appointment. When I went for the appointment, I sat down in the chair expecting a consultation but before I even knew what was happening she was painting my roots and mentioned that I was going to be platinum. We never discussed this and platinum is not my color but the lightening has already begun. Once it finished and was toned I expressed my concern about how orange it looked and she assured me it would be better dry. Once dry it was so yellow. Definitely not platinum and didn’t even look like a natural hair color. She told me to sleep on it and if I still didn’t like it she would tone it a different shade. My husband kept calling me Eminem I texted her that evening and said I wanted it toned before the next weekend as I was going to see all our family. She accommodated and squeezed me in. Last second she had to cancel due to personal reasons and at that point I asked for a refund to which she said she doesn’t give refunds but she would be happy to fix it. We rescheduled and she toned my hair down to an ashier color. It was a little lighter and more silvery than I’m used to but I was happy with the fix. While there I asked about upkeep and how often I’d need it toned and I was told I wouldn’t need it touched up as it was a permanent toner which was great because I’m the kind of person that gets my hair done and doesn’t touch it again for a year. Well imagine my surprise when a week later my hair is yellow again. I texted her to ask about it and she just kept insisting the toner was permanent and wouldn’t need touched up and advised me to use purple shampoo. After a few texts asking why my hair was yellow she just stopped responding. My hair is now high maintenance and yellow. Not to mention my haircut was extremely choppy. I had pieces that were an inch longer than all the rest and had to trim it myself at home. It cost me $300 to ruin my hair and more to keep getting it retoned every few weeks. I’m so angry and Upset and absolutely do not recommend Chelsea Chester

Went to Kelsey at Modern Mane. She listened to everything I wanted done and did an amazing job! Couldn't be happier. She was very personable and friendly. Daughter referred me. Now that I've found her I'll never go anywhere else for haircut, style & wax. Thanks again Kelsey. You're the best!
