By far, Essence provides the most exceptional salon experience, and I cannot imagine going anywhere else. The owner, Kindsay, has been my stylist for years. Her talent consistently exceeds my (admittedly very particular) expectations, but what truly sets her apart is the culture she has cultivated within her salon. The atmosphere is always welcoming, relaxed, and enjoyable. On occasions when I’ve seen other stylists, I’ve had complete confidence knowing that under Kindsay’s mentorship, they deliver the same high standard of service I’ve come to expect. What I especially appreciate is the way she invests in her team. During my appointments, she often takes moments to provide guidance and mentorship to her stylists. To me, this demonstrates her dedication not only to her craft but also to her clients and staff. Furthermore, as she provides these valuable mentorship moments to her team, she continues to make me feel like the most important person in the room. If you’re searching for a new salon, I cannot recommend Essence highly enough

I only went in for a simple haircut, nothing crazy. BUT, Leah was absolutely wonderful!! She is so kind and personable. I left the salon feeling like I just spent hours catching up with an old friend. She was so easy to talk to and even though I just got a haircut, I absolutely LOVED how it turned out. So, thank you Leah!!! Your kindness and hard work doesn’t go unnoticed!

My first time at Essence was an absolutely amazing experience! My stylist, Madee, listened to my hair wishes and gave me suggestions that elevated my final look. I feel so confident now! The whole time I was in her chair was a party and by the end she felt like someone I’d known for years. Besides my incredible stylist, the whole salon had incredible, uplifting vibes. Everyone was welcoming. I cannot thank Madee and the Essence girlies for an awesome experience!
