They did an excellent remodeling job.
CAUTION when stopping here. You can do EVERYTHING CORRECT and the large middle aged guy behind the counter will still come out and yell at you. I want to write this out completely because my family was on vacation and did not deserve such harassment. We pull up to a very busy lot, cars at almost every stall, a few cars in the drive thru. I was driving, following the arrows 'into' the gas pumps. An elderly man pulled up in the opposite direction simultaneously. He proceeds to pull way too far into my space so I'm already frustrated pulling the hose as far as it could go. Oh well, turn to the pump. I insert my card, nothing happens but there is a message saying '$100 prepay' which I ignore. Use the chip reader this time and something changes so I think 'voilà' I did it. I pump $18 worth of gas- we were using a hybrid rental and I filled up often for better mileage so it wasn't suspicious. I begin to get in the vehicle, put my seat belt on, in NO WAY RUSHING, when this guy comes out ** HITS OUR VEHICLE ** with his palm and yells through my husbands passenger window ' HEY YOU GUYS DIDNT PAY FOR THAT, YOU NEED TO GET IN HERE AND PAY FOR IT' I'm caught off guard but I say ' I used my card sir' and here we go again 'NO YOU DIDNT, YOU PUMPED THAT GUYS GAS' pointing over to the old man. What?! (I have high blood pressure and anxiety attacks so my husband quickly jumped in to help, he went in the store to pay, he received even more verbal abuse from this employee. The employee explained his motivation 'well the 'old man' told me he was on pump #1' (incorrect) but never once apologized to us. How was any of this our fault/problem/issue? As a society is this where we are? I doubt this employee will ever be held accountable but believe me when I say I would have pressed charges had anything happened to my health or our rental vehicle. This is our second visit to the area and I will absolutely avoid this gas station at all costs. There are plenty of other hopefully friendlier and far less hectic places to fill up. Wish I didnt have to give the one star but the gas was as expected.
