Absolutely appalling. This gym feels like it's straight out of the 1960s with how blatantly it segregates its members. They've literally built a cage for the "premium" section, moving machines out of the regular area just to create artificial scarcity. There's more than enough space for those machines to remain accessible to everyone, but they'd rather divide people based on how much they're willing to pay. It's a transparent cash grab and a disgusting way to treat paying members. I refuse to pay extra just to be locked in some gated section like a second-class citizen. On top of that, the locker rooms are a joke- no hooks, nowhere to hang your stuff. The lack of basic consideration is just insulting Currently searching for a new gym and I suggest you do the same.
Econo In st luc This is a standard shower room the curtain was a little short in the one I went in, so water splashed out more than regular. I would also stay out of the first shower located next to the water fountain, Because the knob doesn't go all the way over on hot, leading you with a not so hot shower. Shower number 3 was good so go there. Keep grinding keep showering and GET BUFF. -shower guy
Finally a manager that is proactive and does his job .!!! ✅ Ronald runs the Cavendish branch with politeness and efficiency. Some members , (and with good reason) need to be reminded to put back heavy weight discs back on their respective racks so that some less robust members can also enjoy the weight devices. Because managers on duty before his tenure were lax and less proactive, some members have come to have a bad habits. I think that it is a win win situation to have responsible and effective leadership in management of this kind of establishment , to remind some folks of the rules for the benefit of all members of ECONO Fitness. Good job Ronald , every Econo branch needs a leader of your caliber !! 😉
Had an awful experience today. Upon arriving, the front desk staff rudely refused me entry because I didn’t bring a second pair of shoes, even though mine were already super clean and specifically meant for weightlifting. Despite politely explaining it was an honest mistake and asking for just one-time flexibility, he treated me with surprising hostility and refused even when I offered to train in socks. His unnecessarily harsh and inflexible attitude made the whole experience extremely uncomfortable and disappointing, prompting me to cancel my membership immediately. Avoid if you value respectful and friendly service.
