Adan Yu-Xi Ye • 叶羽熙Dr Jack Zhang is so wonderful. My friend recommended him to me and I drove from Toronto to see him and he didn’t disappoint. My dog had a slight limp that was very subtle and it doesn’t always show. Before I went to Dr. Zhang, I was worried she would not show it at the clinic and the trip would be a waste. Of course she was walking almost normally when she was there, But Dr. Zhang Was still able to Identify the limp quite quickly based on the slightly smaller steps she was taking on her left leg. He then took the steps to ask me questions and did different check ups on her paw and joints to rule out possible issues. He then explained to me in detail what he thinks it is and what the treatments are, as well as each treatments’ risk. He answered all my questions and concerns in detail and in a very professional and understanding manner. He was also very respectful and understanding throughout the whole process. Dr. Jack is highly educated, very knowledgeable in different veterinary areas, he also has lots hands on experiences around the world. I believe he was also trained in the US for dermatology. Most importantly, he’s very well mannered, professional and kind. I am very glad to finally found a vet that’s professional and compassionate, I would definitely keep going to him from now on!!! (Even though the drive was farrr lol)

Michelle MasseI’ve raised dogs for the past 50 years and wasn’t happy with my previous vet. I recently rescued a 6.5 year old Shepherd (ShadyDog) from the HSLM and needed to make a change. Fairmont Animal Hospital was recommended to me from a volunteer at HSLM. On our first visit my 75 pound ShadyDog was extra loud and rather unruly (yikes)! This team treated us with absolute care and understanding. Dr. Jack was great and patient with her and took the time to answer all our concerns. The young lady who had to assist (sorry don’t know your name) when giving the vaccines, thank you. You helped put ShadyDog at ease. Carly was fantastic with taking care of all my questions and ensuring we were on the right track with ShadyDog’s nutrition, tips on dog collars and spent a fair amount of time getting us all set up. Laurie was great with explaining the monthly tablets (sorry you had to repeat yourself) I was in shock ShadyDog was so disruptive. I can’t even compare the difference with Fairmont to other vets. Their establishment was so clean and spacious and the front desk staff were so kind. I can’t say enough about all of them except they definitely know the meaning of the word TEAM. Thank you all so much and I look forward to bringing ShadyDog for Cookie visits. What a great idea!
