I stopped by this afternoon to get some food to share with friends and ordered the mussels, Carbonara, and Cacio e Pepe. While waiting, I enjoyed a glass of red wine and the Fontina al Forno. Every dish was above average in quality, and the Carbonara, in particular, was truly outstanding — it’s the only authentic version I’ve found in Edmonton so far. Many places here tend to make Carbonara overly creamy with added milk, cream, or even vegetables like mushrooms or peas, which completely changes its texture and flavor. This restaurant, however, respects the traditional Roman way — rich, silky, and made with real eggs and cheese rather than cream — and that makes me truly satisfied. Highly recommended!

If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out on an amazing experience. What a quaint little place. The moment i stepped into the place, I was taken back to when I was a little girl with my Italian family get togethers. The Accordionist was the cherry on the top of the whole experience. The Food was INCREDIBLE. I had the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Wow!! The staff were unbelievably friendly. We interacted more like family. I will definitely come back again and again!!

Such a cute restaurant with great service, I’d recommend making a reso to secure a spot as they are quite popular! I highly recommend trying the Amore Pescatore and Tiramisu! The braised veal was a bit dry for our palette (doesn’t easily fall apart) but the flavour and risotto amazing!

A Slice of Italy Right Here at Home! I recently took my mom to Café Amore to celebrate her birthday, and we were both absolutely blown away. From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere made us feel like we had stepped right into a cozy café tucked away in the heart of Italy. The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. The staff went above and beyond to make my mom feel special, which added such a personal touch to our celebration. The food? Bellissimo! Every dish was perfectly prepared, bursting with authentic Italian flavor. We could taste the love and tradition in every bite. As we enjoyed our meal, we found ourselves reminiscing about our trip to Italy over ten years ago. Café Amore brought back all those cherished memories, and for a moment, it felt like we were back there again. I can't thank the team enough for making my mom’s birthday so memorable. We left with full hearts and full stomachs. This place is truly a gem—we’ll definitely be back. Shout out to our excellent server Kaylin. She was wonderful.
