Customer experiences
It was a very pleasant experience all around. The receptionist was very helpful throughout the registration process, helping me thru it. They were not busy and was fast, professional and polite throughout the entire process. Total time there was approximately 30-45 min. I would be proud to use them.again!!
Everyone there was very nice and friendly and easy to deal with. They checked my granddaughter over very carefully and kept checking to make sure she was comfortable. The only draw back was that the lobby was way too hot and uncomfortable they need to turn there air conditioning lower to make it better.
No one should walk into a clinic for care and leave feeling humiliated. This is a long review, and I thank everyone read through this. I went to the Fast Pace walk-in clinic today for a simple school physical. I had already filled out my part of the form—my health history, immunizations, TB info, etc. The instructions stated that the student was responsible for providing accurate information and signing the first part. The second section was to be filled out only by a physician or healthcare provider. This included the actual physical examination—skin condition, movement of extremities, and other clinical observations—which was the reason I was there. When I arrived, I handed my form to the front desk. The front desk asked to see my immunization record, even though it was part of the section I had already completed. I explained that I received all my immunizations from the county health department and that they could verify it directly. They refused, insisting I provide it myself. Eventually, I remembered I had all my records stored online, so I pulled them up and showed them. Then the “provider"—a woman whose name I was never given—came out and asked for my TB records. I told her I would look for them, but didn’t believe they were necessary for her section of the form. She insisted that if she was going to sign the physical, she needed “all the information.” I calmly repeated that I was looking for it. She continued to speak over me, and when I tried again to reassure her I was finding the record, she told me she refused to serve me. I asked for her name so I could document who was refusing service. She refused to tell me. I asked for her license number—she refused that too. The front desk also refused to give me the corporate phone number, telling me to “find it online.” Then the provider looked at me and said, “Leave now or I will call the police.” At that moment, I couldn’t help but wonder—was she threatening me because of how I look? I am Asian, and in that instant, I felt I was being treated like a second-class citizen in my own community. I stepped outside, trying to find her name through the clinic’s website, but it wasn’t listed. I went back in to ask again. She looked me straight in the eye, raised her voice, and repeated: “Get out now or I’ll call the police. Do you understand?” I felt tears in my eyes—not from anger, but from humiliation and deep sadness. We are a rural, low-income community, and yes, we desperately need more access to healthcare. But what we need even more is dignity. We should be treated like human beings, not like second-class citizens. No one should walk into a clinic for care and leave feeling smaller, voiceless, untrusted, helpless and unwelcome.
It was great, the people here awnsered any and all questions I had, then went on to explain the whole process. As someone who was going to their first drug screen I think this was a 10:10.
