I’ve had my hair cut twice at The Hair Bros. The first time Sean did a beautiful cut, he took it from very long to chin length - a bit shorter than I asked, but it grew out beautifully. Recently I booked with a different hairdresser (as Sean didn’t have availability). I’d been enjoying having long hair again so just wanted more shape, movement and some face framing. I felt really underwhelmed by the ā€˜consultation’ we had - she barely spoke with me and it felt like she just knew what she wanted to do. Despite leaving the salon fairly satisfied (it was taken a lot shorter than we discussed), it’s proved to be a terrible cut. The razor cutting has made my hair texture frizzy and puffy with straggly ends, and the face-framing pieces are far too heavy and just hang shapeless like Spaniel ears. It’s been the opposite of the ā€˜wash and go’ cuts the salon promises - it only looks passable with a LOT of styling, and since I don’t have time for that (busy mum life) my hair is tied back 95% of the time. I kept thinking I might be happier once it’d grown out a bit, but now 7 weeks on I’ve resigned myself to getting it cut drastically shorter to start again. It’s really not in my nature to complain but this haircut has hugely knocked my confidence and I am gutted to be forced back to short hair just to correct what’s been done. I've given a 3-star review to be fair as Sean deserves 4/5* and this haircut is firmly a 1*.

A spectacular experience i must say! Ryan is such a gem, his hands truly have a magic touch! he really understood how my hair would look its most natural with volume and did that for me!! I enjoyed every single second of conversation, laughs, and the way he styled my hair at the end wow just perfection! thank you Ryan it was truly amazing meeting uā™„ļø

I would strongly advise not going here if you have curly / textured hair. It isn’t an exaggeration to say my hair texture was ruined by a cut I had here. I’ve done a lot of crazy things with my dark, thick, curly hair before (bleach blonde, full mullets) and I’ve never experienced a hair cut that has totally ruined my natural curl pattern the way this did. After months of waiting for my natural hair to come back my hair was still frizzy and shapeless and so I went to get another cut somewhere else. The hairdresser was genuinely shocked when she saw my hair, and when I explained they had razor cut from the roots on my dry hair. She, and many other people since, have told me that’s the worst possible thing you can do for curly hair. I was really excited to get my hair cut here after seeing all the amazing cuts they do on their insta. Unfortunately this didn’t apply to my hair type. Now I’ve looked at the other 1 star reviews I can see other people have unfortunately had the same experience as me. I really don’t want to seem horrible and hate on this business, and I’ve held back from posting this review for a long time, but genuinely the cut I got here was so bad it really got me down as I didn’t feel myself at all. My hair is still not where it was before and it still gets me down. I just feel like in 2025 a high quality hair salon should be able to cater to all hair types, especially at the prices they charge.

The nicest salon experience I can ever remember having. Every person I encountered was warm, welcoming and accommodating. Incredibly down to earth atmosphere, which truthfully, given all the hype, I was not expecting. The space is beautiful, smells delicious and the light and green at the back made me feel like I’d taken my first deep breath in a long time. I went in with my 8 month old and expected it might be tricky. If anything Jaiden and the team around him made it feel like a joy to have my baby there. This felt immense. It was really refreshing (and just right!) to get a hair cut based on my natural hair and the next morning after a wash, it still looked fantastic. Thank you, Jaiden! Nick and Sean have created a special place. Although it’s without doubt an expensive visit, I will happily return for the lovely, kind people, the beautiful surroundings and the flawless cuts.
