Customer experiences
I visited Aroma Cafe in downtown Edmonton and tried their spicy paneer wrap it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. The wrap was fresh, filling, and packed with flavor. The staff were friendly and the café had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a must try spot if you’re in the area.
Best Chai in Edmonton. I’ve tried many things earlier and everything was great, Chai especially! Guy at counter suggested an off menu item - Makhani Putine, it was delicious, loved it. Hope to see this item on menu soon! Love the Vibe of this cafe!!
Got samosas and paneer butter masala. The sauce was delicious and the paneer was squeaky good. The price was very reasonable as well. Samosas had very good heat if you’re into that (I am). Could have used more heat on the main course, but I’m not complaining; it was yummy.
Drinks are decent. Chai was okay. Nothing special, Indian coffee was pretty good. Having to wait over 40+ minutes for food though is not okay. If they had more than two staff working food could get out quicker. But this is clearly a case of the owners being too cheap to hire more than one person to work in the kitchen. Tables were dirty, and had dishes on them too, the entire vibe and aesthetic of this place also leaves much to be desired. But, waiting 40 minutes for mediocre food is not what makes a good restaurant, other places you wait less than 20 minutes for food. I can't see this place staying open for much longer. They can't compete with all of the better cafes and restaurants in this area. Also the menu is all over the place. Burgers, tacos and Indian food and a cafe?? I don't think the owners even know what they want this restaurant to be. They'd probably do better if it was just Indian food and drinks (well that and having more staff to work in the kitchen).
Felice Cafe is a cafe.
