Highly recommend this cute place to stop during your shopping trip for light lunch, cakes & barrister made drinks! The staff are super friendly, especially Rhiannon & Julia! They always remember my order which makes the experience really personal! I love that they chance the selection of cakes on a weekly basis & they have a great selection of gluten free cakes too! Also my daughter’s favourite place to go for sourdough toast!!
I like this cafe - they make great coffee, strong with lots of flavor, and the scones are good too. The place is nice, with plenty of window seats. I’d give it 4 stars because of two things: it’s often really loud, probably because there’s no sound insulation on the ceiling to absorb noise. And the staff isn’t very friendly - every time I’ve been here, I feel like an inconvenience rather than a customer, like I’m distracting them from something. It’s okay, but not as friendly as other cafes in Reading.
Visited last week, great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful, even though it was very busy Coffee was good, had beautiful art on the latte. Will definitely come back
