I don't know about Mississauga's branch but in general DHL is NOT the company we usually deal with for logistics. It's an absolute nightmare to deal with. We usually hire other well known companies but a company overseas sent a package through DHL. Someone from DHL claimed they came to the office but premises were closed! we were a party of 4 meeting at the main lobby by the door at the time DHL claimed premises were closed @ 2is pm. What business office is closed at 2pm? Nobody to talk to, no email, it's all automated messages only. We are still suffering to receive the package that was sent by DHL and can't get a hold of HUMAN BEING to resolve the problem, which is a very simple solution. Just someone walk through the main door and say we have a package to deliver. DHL got paid to this job, they're not doing it for free.
I am extremely disappointed with DHL as a whole. I’ve had several negative experiences, but the most recent deliveries have left an especially bad impression. One particularly frustrating instance involved the delivery of legal documents from overseas. While the package left the country of origin promptly, the delivery process in Canada was completely unacceptable. The tracking information on your website kept changing without any actual movement of the package. For three consecutive days, I received messages stating that a delivery attempt was made but there was "no response from the customer." This is simply not true—I was home the entire time and have a Ring doorbell system that confirms no one showed up or rang the bell. Why is there a need to lie? Out of desperation, I requested to have the package redirected to a DHL store for pickup. In another case, I’m still waiting on a package that arrived in Canada over four weeks ago. The tracking status continues to change multiple times a day, yet no delivery attempt has been made. Trying to contact DHL by phone is beyond frustrating—getting through to a real person is nearly impossible. When I do manage to speak with someone, I’m simply told to "check the website," which I’ve already done repeatedly. At this point, I genuinely don’t understand why we pay so much for a "delivery service" that feels like anything but. There is no sense of urgency or accountability. Moving forward, I will avoid using DHL entirely and will advise friends, family, and colleagues to do the same. Also, I’ve received multiple prompts from DHL asking me to authorize delivery without a signature. This completely undermines the importance of secure delivery, especially when handling legal documents. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, though based on my experience so far, I won’t hold my breath.
DHL provides excellent service! My package arrived on time, and the delivery process was smooth. The worker was very nice, professional, and friendly. They handled everything with care and made the experience hassle-free. I highly recommend DHL for reliable shipping!
I don’t usually post things like this, but I genuinely hope DHL takes this as constructive feedback and works to improve their service. There have been far too many frustrating experiences. I ordered a product from Korea and have been waiting for over a month. DHL keeps saying they’ve attempted delivery, but no one was home — even though I work from home and have been here the entire time. Delivery Issues • Delays and Missed Deliveries: Packages are delayed or marked as attempted deliveries when no actual attempt was made. • Lack of Communication: It’s extremely difficult to get updates or reach someone who can help. • Inaccurate Delivery Attempts: It’s unacceptable that false delivery attempts are being recorded. This seems to be a recurring issue that points to deeper problems with delivery operations. I hope DHL seriously looks into these concerns. Customers deserve transparency and reliable service.
