Meridian Design Build was our General Contractor for a whole house renovation. We could not have worked with a better GC than Joe Balich. We vetted five firms; Joe’s candor, years of hands-on experience, leadership, and genuine interest in us and our home made Meridian the standout choice. The entire process was collaborative from the very beginning - Joe really listened to us and understood what we wanted. He treated the project like his own home, making informed decisions and looking for ways to embrace and enhance the character of our 1948 house. He took particular care in regard to the budget, making seasoned recommendations about where best to spend or save. Communication was excellent and timely. Joe works with professional and reliable subs who are skilled at their specialties. We look forward to working together on our next project, a screened porch and carport/garage. It has to be Meridian!

Meridian and Joe Balich far exceeded my expectations! We retained Meridian to add a full bedroom/bath suite to our home. The suite would be used as an art studio most of the time so we had needs particular to that function. Joe and his team worked with us to deliver great quality, met a very tight timeframe and was on budget! Joe was great to work with, keeping us informed, explaining options and finding the best solution at a cost that worked for us. He actually had higher standards for the work than I did! After a prior bad experience with another contractor, it was great to work with someone who was so professional and personable. We love the beautiful space we have now! I'd hire Joe again and recommend Meridian highly.

I hired Meridian to do a bath remodel in March 2017. I had solicited bids from 4 contractors. Two obviously did not want the job because the bids were outrageously high. I selected Meridian because of the time spent gathering a complete understanding of my goals and my budget along with the service mentality toward the job. Once the job started, and it was a nearly complete gut and rebuild, the on-site team lead protected the surrounding areas, kept me informed and guided the project to a highly professional and totally satisfactory conclusion. I am planning a kitchen remodel in 2019 and Meridian will be high on my list of contractors to spec and price that project.
