DemiWhen my recruiter, Megan, went on maternity leave, I wasn’t informed until I needed assistance with an already-approved time-off request from management on the Assignment I was on, after presenting proof that I was getting no response from TRC. Only later did I receive an email introducing Holli as my new point of contact. A simple heads-up would have made a significant difference in continuity and support. While I received countless emails celebrating others’ birthdays, anniversaries, and sometimes milestones, my contributions and milestones were completely overlooked. My work absolutely went unnoticed and unappreciated and the only time I heard from TRC was to deliver negative feedback. I abruptly left the company for deeply personal reasons, in addition to obtaining my Master's Degree, (I sold myself very short, but the position worked at the time) but the lack of care shown towards me made it so much easier. When I needed a replacement computer—despite submitting multiple requests—it was ignored, even as others received their replacements promptly. Ironically, the only urgency I experienced was in being harassed to return equipment. The lack of acknowledgment, communication, and support reflects poorly on TRC, Megan & Holli's priorities and made me feel undervalued. I hope they take all feedback seriously and make changes to ensure their employees feel respected and appreciated in the future.
