If you’re looking for a serious training environment in Markham, Fitness Element is one of the few gyms that actually delivers what it promises. Clean setup, intentional equipment choices, and a culture built around real training instead of noise or gimmicks. You can tell immediately Jeff runs this place with standards. The members respect the space, the community is loyal, and it feels like a gym built by someone who actually lifts, not someone chasing trends. A lot of gyms talk about having a strong culture. Fitness Element actually has one. Jeff, if your reading/seeing this I sent you a letter last week with a short breakdown video inside it. Not sure if it reached you or if Canada Post ate it, so replying would help me sleep at night. Also I spent way too long on the thumbnail so at least tell me you saw it. Yes, I can remove & or edit this review on request.

Fitness Element is by far the best gym in town - always clean, well-equipped, and supported by a great community. I trained with Reika for my first four months, and she helped me build a solid routine with both exercise and diet. She taught me proper techniques, improved my posture, and guided me as I started my weight loss journey. With each session, she pushed me to reach my potential, and I’ve seen real progress in my strength. I’m really grateful for her support and excited to continue my fitness journey here as a member.

Fitness Element is an awesome gym if you’re looking for a gym in the Markham area. It’s a large facility that has everything you need and more to get a good pump in. FE also has a strong gym community and a culture of respect for the gym and it’s members which made the gym feel more comfortable. It’s easy to sign up for a day pass or membership online on their site. The gym is always locked and is for members only so just remember to sign up on their site and follow the instructions for access before you arrive at the gym. Overall a great gym experience and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to find a gym community or if you’re just in the area looking for a place to drop in to workout.

Went here last week and was not impressed. 1) The door is locked and you have to call someone to open the door. I’ve never experienced a locked gym before. Bad idea. 2) There’s too much equipment inside and you barely have any free space to move. You can’t charge $80 per month + tax and offer these kind of conditions. LA Fitness is $55 per month. The good news is, if they change these two things, they’ll improve!!!!
