FITting Room Fitness Studio

Attached to the Hilton Markham is the Unionville Athletic Club. I thought it was going to be a normal hotel gym. When I walked in I was very pleasantly surprised. They have commercial equipment, a clean space and dumbbells that go up to 150 lbs. I frequently went during my stay at the Hilton at 7 am. Needless to say it was extremely quiet. The patrons there are respectful and nice. The staff were friendly and did not intrude into my workouts. Full weight setups and cardio equipment was plentiful. 10 treadmills alone for example. Highly recommend

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the consistently poor standards at your gym. Quite frankly, it is unacceptable for a facility that charges full membership fees to fail so completely at meeting even the most basic expectations. First, the level of cleanliness is appalling. Equipment is left dirty, floors are rarely maintained, and the overall environment feels neglected. A gym should promote health—not make members feel like they need to sanitize everything before even beginning a workout. Second, your repeated inability to open on time shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for members' schedules. Many of us plan our day around your posted hours, and it is infuriating to arrive only to find locked doors, dark rooms, and no explanation whatsoever. Lastly, the attitude of some of your staff is shockingly unhelpful. A gym should be a welcoming place, but instead, members are met with indifference, rudeness, or staff who seem annoyed that they even have to be there. This is not only unprofessional—it drives members away. I expect immediate improvements in cleanliness, punctuality, and staff conduct. If these issues cannot be addressed promptly, I will have no choice but to take my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same.

This all-in-one fitness centre is amazing. Not only do they have a really nice gym they also have a big pool, sauna, steam and even squash and pingpong. They also have group fitnesss classes. The personal trainers are really experienced and definitely makes a difference to get their help if you are starting out.
