This place was busy! Def need a reservation! Even when we had one we still waited a bit for the table. The apps we ordered were okay. I liked the calamari but there was too many fried onions and peppers compared to squid. Also crab cake had good flavor but too much breading. I wouldn’t order apps again. Standouts were all the entrees. The salmon looked delicious, the ahi tuna look delicious and huge. I had swordfish which was a very big portion and delicious. Swordfish is pretty meaty and they served it over hearty vegetables which made it pretty heavy. I would have liked it better if it was paired with something more delicate like mango. But it was still pretty good. Desserts looked good too, they came around with a dessert tray. I got the tiramisu. It was very big for one person. Light fluffy and delicious. I also got a seasonal lychee martini which was pretty good as well! Not the best lychee martini but still pretty good. Someone in our party ordered risotto and it didn’t come out with all of our meals and we waited like 15 min and it still didn’t come out so he cancelled that order. That was the only downside. Nice view of the harbor, I would come back again!
Fantastic restaurant in the perfect location of the Pier 39, infact the view is really amazing as you can see. The people who work there were amazing and the service absolutely perfect. The food was wonderful even if the price is for many reasons was expensive respect to the average. I ate the chowder (the 2024 #1 of San Francisco), the lobster roll and the "risotto" and all of them were absolutely stunning.
We arrived around 7 pm and had to wait about 45 minutes for a table, so we opted to sit at the bar instead. The service was good, and our drinks and food came out fairly quickly. We enjoyed our food—we tried the award-winning clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl with added crab, the seared scallop and crab risotto, and the crispy calamari. All three dishes were yummy! It’s a nice restaurant, but can still come dressed casual. That said, if you plan to dine here, I’d recommend waiting for a table. It’s a pricey spot, and I think the experience would’ve been much more enjoyable at a table rather than the bar, especially considering the final bill.
A good fish restaurant on pier 39. The service is good, the staff has an eye for its guests. There is a wide selection of wines, it is just a pity that the staff does not have enough knowledge to advise. The dishes are good on tasty and big enough. It is quite expensive, but that will mainly have to do with the location.
