I'm confused. The furniture I want to donate meets the requirements and is in very good shape, but they told me it won't sell and that they won't pick it up. I thought this was a donation center, meant to help those in need, not a for-profit operation. Just to add to this, kijii free went in a hour

A good shop with plenty of parking, just off the main strip in Fonthill. Available are (pre-owned) things like entire kitchen cabinetry, stoves, hardware, doors, crockery, glassware, sofas, chairs, tables, flooring, and a myriad of other items at a discounted price. You never know what you’ll find. Like a thrift shop for building and decor.

I haven't had many opportunities to visit the Restore Fonthill but each time I go I am always impressed with the variety of goods and the displays in store. I've been lucky to be served by the friendly staff who always give off such a family vibe! The manager, Jodi , is approachable and helpful in her suggestions for further purchases. It's great to see such a diverse team encompassing all ages and abilities. Keep up the good work Restore Fonthill!

This is usually a good store but I had a very poor experience on the weekend. I saw an old Dyson (10+ years) vacuum that was tagged as tested and working so I brought it to the front and asked if I could see its suction but was told no, that it was in good working order. Well.... that's not really true. I brought it home, cleaned and charged it for several hours but it wouldn't run at all, so I left it charging overnight. After 12 + hours I got 10 seconds of power before it died and no suction, even with just the head in use. I was reminded that all sales are final when I bought it on their assurance that it worked. So now I've ordered a new $60 battery in the hopes that will help and then I need to take it in to be serviced because of the lack of suction. There are no obvious obstructions so I'm not sure what I'm in for but I can't afford to be out $100 for a non-working vacuum so here I am watching self service youtube videos. It was a very disappointing experience and I will be much more aware of what I purchase there.
