I visited her once last year. The appointment felt rushed , instead of carefully examining my skin condition, she quickly started recommending products. Honestly, it felt more like shopping at Sephora than getting medical advice. I tried the products she suggested, but they didn’t help at all. My skin only improved after I switched back to a simple skincare routine. On top of that, I felt uncomfortable with the payment process. She asked for an e-transfer, and since it took a bit of time to set up, they held me there until the transfer went through, which felt unprofessional. Overall, I didn’t feel confident in the care I received and did not return.

Dr. Demkew-Bartel created a skin care plan for me. I have been following it for a year and have experienced many benefits and improvements. My skin is less reactive, more moisturized, has more even tone and brown spots have diminished. The Skin Refresher treatment is a good way to kick off your plan and do periodically, if it suits your goals. I am seeing results rather than struggling with little or no direction.
