Extremely Disappointed – Poor Customer Service After Purchase I purchased a used vehicle from Honda Thornhill on June 17. Less than a month later, warning lights for mitigation and collision systems appeared on the dashboard. I reached out to the sales representative AJ, who told me to come in on August 5. I left work early and drove all the way to the dealership, only to be redirected to the so-called Used Car Manager, Ryan, who then casually told me I needed to book a service appointment. This was incredibly frustrating – there was no courtesy, no accountability, no urgency. The same people who were eager and friendly when it came time to take my money suddenly acted like I was a stranger when an issue arose. I wasn’t even given the basic respect of a proper explanation or solution after making the effort to come in, based on their instructions. To make matters worse, when I initially got the car, it wasn’t even properly detailed inside – a clear indication of the dealership’s lack of care and poor service standards. This entire experience has left a very sour impression. Customer service here is unacceptable. I would rate my experience with Honda Thornhill a 2 out of 10 – and that’s being generous.

She took the time to answer all our questions and made sure we felt confident every step of the way. Her professionalism and genuine care truly made a difference. Also, a big shoutout to Mr. Daniel, who went above and beyond to help us get approved for financing. He patiently walked us through the process and provided valuable guidance on how to protect and maintain our new car. Both Ianna and Daniel made this milestone such a smooth and memorable experience for our family. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle, you're in excellent hands!
5 stars – Highly Recommend! I recently purchased a Honda Odyssey from Honda of Thornhill and had a fantastic experience. I worked with Cindy in sales and Daniel in finance — both were truly wonderful. Cindy welcomed me with open arms and really took the time to help me choose the trim that fit my lifestyle best. She listened, understood what I needed, and never once pressured me into extras or upgrades. It felt like she genuinely had my best interest at heart. Daniel was also great to deal with. He was professional, clear, and walked us through all our options when it came to the warranty. I know people often feel warranties aren’t worth it — but honestly, if even one issue comes up, it could more than pay for itself. Hopefully we never need it, but it gives peace of mind knowing we’re covered. I highly recommend the team at Honda of Thornhill
Had a poor, misleading and unethical experience at this Honda Dealership. Their service department is scamming customers. The service advisor informed me that the vehicle is due for engine oil change which is 129$+taxes, brake fluid flush which is 218$+taxes. While waiting for the service to be complete, I was in shock, how a simple brake fluid flush service can cost 218$+ HST. I called Markham Honda service department to check the cost of brake fluid flush service and they advised me it's 168+ HST. Then I went back to my service advisor to tell him that I did my research and called Honda Markham and their brake flush cost is 168+ taxes. How come you are telling me it's 218$+HST. He gave me misleading information by saying oh there are two types of services, one is just to refill the brake fluid without a flush which is 168+taxes and the other is a detailed flush out of brake fluid by removing brake calipers, tires etc. That's why the cost is more. So, it was not just a mistake on the cost of a rather fabricated lie. I went back to the waiting area, it was hard for me to believe his lie. I called Honda Markham again to inquire if there are two types of brake fluid flush services, one is just to refill the brake fluid without a flush and the other is a detailed flush out of brake fluid by removing brake calipers, tires etc.? The service advisor at Honda Markham advised me that sir, there is only one type of brake fluid flush service which is done in detail by removing the tires, brake calipers etc. and the cost is 168+ taxes. I called Parkway Honda, they provided me with the same information as well. I was already in disbelief at this point, so I went back to the service advisor, I told him I don't want the brake fluid flush service today, I just want the engine oil replaced. He told me that he can go check in the shop if they have already started on the brake fluid flush. When he came back, he advised me that the mechanic had already started working on the brake fluid flush and he told me he can match the price, same as Markham Honda for 168$ + HST. When the car was ready, my total was not right, they charged 22$ plus HST for service and handling fee, which was not communicated to me in advance and is a hidden charge to all customers. When asked, the service advisor told me that since he didn't mention this charge upfront, I can come back and talk to the service manager regarding this hidden fee and he may wave it off, lol another scam? But this whole scenario of misleading information just makes me wonder what type of service they have performed on my vehicle. Honda is all about trust and this dealership is breaking customers' trust by providing misleading, unethical information and scamming customers. Unbelievable !
