The best vet for rabbits! Dr Rockx has her own rabbits which gives her unique insight into behaviors as well as a wealth of knowledge and expertise. The staff are also ALWAYS friendly, timely and overall wonderful. One of our bunnies passed away at a different vet during an emergency, and Dr rockx followed up without even being asked. 10/10 vet!

I remember my parents taking our family pets to Abbey Animal Hospital and always having a good experience. I moved away to Toronto for a couple of years and took my cat, Kai, to a few different vets. I often felt like they were more interested in pushing products on me than making sure I felt informed and comfortable whenever I brought her in. I always left with more questions than answers. After moving from Toronto to Burlington, I needed to find a new vet. Even though Abbey isn’t the closest clinic, I decided to go back—and it’s a choice I don’t regret. The staff at Abbey is simply amazing. The doctors take the time to explain every detail and all my options. When I had to make the extremely difficult decision to let Kai pass, I felt so much support from the entire team. Dr. Barsoum made an incredibly hard moment easier because I understood my options and what Kai might be going through. The attention to detail—from follow-up calls to a heartfelt sympathy card in the mail—shows just how much the staff care about their clients and the animals they treat. Anytime I email, the staff respond promptly. My husband and I don’t mind braving the Oakville/Burlington traffic for appointments because we know our animals will receive the best care and we will always leave feeling confident and reassured. Thank you to the entire staff for all that you do. You are truly appreciated.

We were attended to very quickly when I phoned in at eight. We were able to get an appointment at 9:10, we were given options and enough information to make a decision that we had comfort with. We were given a phone call to update us on Bentley‘s condition and really liked the follow up phone call the next day to see how Bentley was doing. I know that they found the procedure very uncomfortable and so I would just from my own peace of mind asked the next time should we do a bit more anaesthesia but we were so extremely happy with the results and the relief Bentley got, and the attention that was given to him as he worked through his issue.
