Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5 out of 5 stars) Facility: Franciscan Health Lafayette (St. Elizabeth) Franciscan Health Lafayette—also known as St. Elizabeth—is, in my opinion, an excellent hospital. Every time I’ve visited, both myself and my family have been treated with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. The hospital is home to world-renowned surgeons and doctors who not only bring exceptional expertise but also maintain a compassionate bedside manner. The staff across the board is highly qualified, attentive, and dedicated to delivering proper diagnoses and top-tier medical treatment. What stands out most is their commitment to patient well-being. From the moment you walk in, you feel that the team is focused on providing the best possible care. Whether it's a routine visit or a more serious medical need, I’ve always felt confident and supported. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical attention. Do not go to Franciscan Lafayette East. The patient care employees are are given way too many patients to take care of. I know one that had 21 patients to take care of. That's giving baths, feeding, turning, helping to the bathroom and everything else they have to do. Patients can not get the care they deserve when they have one person taking care of that many people. Not to mention the physical and mental toll it puts on the employees. No matter how hard they work there's no way they can keep up with all the call lights and everything that needs done. They do this for 12 hrs. This hospital needs to be reported for lack of patient care. Read ER reviews. If your having a heart attack you will be lucky if they don't leave you in the waiting room to die because they consider you a nonemergency. They got 1 star so I could leave this review. They deserve -5 stars.

Went to the ER and told the check-in nurse the medications I’m allergic to. 20 minutes later the main nurse tried to give me an anti inflammatory which I can’t have because of my kidneys. At the bare minimum can we at least keep the people safe… can we read and be a little detail oriented? Not the first time this has happened.

I took my daughter in for heart issues, sweating, extremely high BP and heart rate at 152.They literally left us so long in the waiting room that I finally said we are leaving for another hospital. Never checked on her, gave her an aspirin or ANYTHING. We were there OVER an hour. I went to desk several times no one cared. A tweeter came in and needed a fix. They took her directly back to the new triage section. Why couldn’t they have done that with her???? One other couple left too. I have also had issues here with heart based issues. Call an ambulance!
