I didn’t want to give 4 stars because staff is SO friendly - however it does not feel like a 5 star food - it’s solid 4. It’s a bit fusion which is good, interesting but both hashbrown fries and port were too fat. Considering the location is between buildings they managed to create nice cozy space

Hey sports fans ......here we are with you once again. We've traveled to the beautiful part of the Algarve about 15km outside of Albufeira to our favorite local restaurant Franks. A hidden gem. A little hidden but well worth the effort to seek it out. As usual, the staff are exceptionally polite, knowledgeable and after a busy and hectic day it's an oasis of calm as soon as you step through the door. The restaurant is running it's summer menu. Please see photograph attached. It's concise but perfectly formed, from the home made bread and butter through to the mains which vary from Irish stews to pan fried bass and cauliflower fritters. The simplicity belies the depth and balance of flavour. I would highly recommend this place as this is our fourth visit here and every time the consistent quality is something to be envied by all other restaurants in the local area. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

The hospitality is totally awful. We wanted to take a dinner outside, but they did not allowed us to take a place at an empty table because it is for 4 people, even though it was not reserved. It was 9:20pm and the kitchen was closing at 10pm. It was totally about attitude. The food looked nice but much below the standard as the pictures offering. If you prefer a much better atmosphere, choose Versatile.

Incredible, do not leave until you try it, can't find a fault 100% the best food in the area. Best food I've ever had abroad, not just here in Portugal but anywhere.
