Lovely shop has everything we need for running a successful business, but yesterday I was absolutely astounded that the two young female members of staff were literally looking me up and down clearly talking about me because I had short gym shorts on, it was a very hot day and they just made me feel so judged and uneasy to the point 1 followed me and was pretending to fold something! I’ve never been made to feel so uncomfortable to the point that I left the shop, very obnoxious attitude shown towards me! It’s actually quite upsetting that you walk into a shop and are made to feel like this! Local supply for us but think we will stick to online from now on!
I went into the Franklins store in Salisbury for the first time today, 7th June 2025. Wanted to upgrade my sewing machine. I had been looking on the internet and had a couple of machines in mind. I asked to speak with someone regarding a purchase and advice. I was fortunate enough to speak to Neil who gave me some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Nothing asked was too much trouble to explain. He made me feel very valued as a customer. He demonstrated everything the machine could do. Whether I remember it all is another matter. I ended up purchasing the Britannia T190. I have worked with the public myself so know how much it can take and just wanted to give Neil the high recommendation he rightly deserves. A real credit to the company
