I had a very disappointing experience at Crescent Oak Dental. I went in for two fillings, but without informing me or asking for my consent, they also applied a sealant and charged me for it. At no point did they explain the procedure, the cost, or whether my insurance would cover it. I only found out after the treatment when they directly charged me. This lack of communication and transparency is completely unprofessional, and I did not expect this kind of behavior from a dental clinic. Patients deserve clear information and the right to decide before being billed for additional treatments.

They've been amazing in the quality of their work, and all of the staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. I didn't know there was a change in ownership or management, so I was surprised to see similar stories to mine. They scheduled me for a procedure (regular cleaning) that was not covered by my insurance. When did I find out it's not covered? After the procedure, of course. It's only $200 and no cents. No big deal! Next time, I should just ask if it's covered when I get there, or better, make sure to cancel within 48 hours. As most sane people in 2025, I wouldn't have scheduled an extra 200 dollar dental cleaning that isn't covered by insurance. Since this was scheduled by your office, Crescent Oak Dental, is there anyone I can speak to about these numbers? Nope, since we are now under 123 Dentist, there is no one you can talk to. I couldn't believe they have a history of this type of behaviour, play it safe and confirm coverage with your insurance. Other than that, they're great!
