My handle, Orange Roughy, not professional...But the Freeman Webb Company is a very professional company, and I'd like to share my experience as a vendor. The folks at Freeman Webb are collaborative. It is a great experience to work with clients that are enthusiastic and enjoy what they do. Care is the word I would use to describe the people at Freeman. You can feel how much they care about their residents and vendors.
Tori Carter is truly amazing! She helped me get into my apartment quickly and made the whole process smooth. She is professional, thorough, and always double-checks everything. Even when things got difficult, she fought for me and truly became my advocate. Iām so grateful for her supportāthank you, Tori!
āļøāļøāļø 3 out of 5 stars Iāve lived at Radius at Donelson for a year now and have generally had a positive experience, with very few maintenance issues during my first several months when the property was managed by a different company. Recently, Freeman Webb took over property management, and on August 26th, Allie Murphy was introduced to the community as our new property manager. I was looking forward to meeting the new staff, but I really never got around to it. My building had an issue with a strong pet odor in the hallway carpet and I emailed Allie about it on September 12th. When I followed up in person, she mentioned that with recent system changes, the email may have been lost, but Allie did agree to look into the carpet issue. To her credit, the carpet was steam cleaned on September 16th, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the smell persisted. When I brought it up again the next day, hoping the issue could be escalated, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. I was told the hallway isnāt my responsibility, that the carpet had already been cleaned, and that they werenāt going to keep spending money every time someone complained. I was also told to āwait at least 24 hours before complainingā again. When I asked if I needed to submit a formal maintenance request, I was told no, because "you donāt live in the hallway." What made the experience worse was when I asked for her managerās name and contact information, she flatout refused and told me I would need to ālook it up myself.ā I found this response completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Thankfully, I was able to google Freeman Webb and leave a voicemail with Hallie, Allieās direct supervisor. Hallie called me back promptly, was professional, listened to my concerns, and within a few days, the hallway carpet was properly deodorized. Because of Hallieās professionalism and timely resolution, Iām giving Freeman Webb 3 stars. However, Allieās dismissive attitude and refusal to provide management contact information show a clear need for customer service and conflict resolution training. Property managers set the tone for the community. Residents deserve to be heard and treated with respect, especially when it comes to shared living spaces.
I have lived in a Freeman Webb apartment building for over 5 years: Nance Place on Rolling Mill Hill. The location is amazing, but itās disgusting. They have one poor guy on the maintenance team trying his best to keep up with this location. But itās all gross. Nothing is kept up. People leave trash everywhere. All the carpets are stained with trash-juice from where their trash has leaked. There are bug and rodent problems. People leave trash and cigarette butts in the hallways and stairwells. The elevators do not work half of the time, the parking garage gate has been broken for days. And, more importantly, they havenāt had the same management team on staff for more than a few months. There is no consistency from manager to manager, except that nothing gets done. Itās honestly horrific. Dramatic, I know. The issue is, this could be such a nice property. And I wish it was. However, it is not, and I DO NOT FEEL SAFE, and YOU SHOULD NOT MOVE HERE.
