Working on a large estate clear-out job 20 minutes past Sooke, it was difficult getting a company willing to go out and quote on a job requiring extensive pressure washing, gutter cleaning, and window washing - until I contacted The Friendly Giant. From the start, I was impressed. Shawn met me at the jobsite and took a lot of time to walk around the property and prepare a detailed estimate for our client. Prior to starting we had numerous scheduling and logistical challenges. Their Operations Manager, Arlene, was incredibly patient and professional. She even tracked down a service warranty for the 20 year-old gutters! They arrived with several trucks and a highly competent crew. It was a long day and they worked very hard. Shawn came mid-day with pizza for his workers and to check that all was going well. It was impressive to see a "boss" take such interest in both his people and the task at hand. They put in a long day but I'm absolutely certain that their hard work added considerable value to the home. I'd certainly recommend this company.

Great service, done professionally by a great crew of polite workers — who managed some tough jobs and cleaned up well afterwards. It’s definitely worth paying for this kind of work three stories plus up in the air! We got good value for money.

We recently hired Friendly Giant Window, Gutter and Roof Cleaning to do some regular maintenance at our home. The price was reasonable and certainly competitive. The operational manager (Arlene) is friendly, informative and a pleasure to deal with. We booked an appointment and asked that if they were able to come earlier, to please do so. Arlene called about 2 weeks before our scheduled appointment and advised that there was an opening in their schedule. We were very happy to get that call! The technician who came to clean our gutters was professional and polite. He came within 30 minutes of Arlene's call and did a wonderful job . He also went above and beyond with cleaning up after the job. I do not hesitate to recommend this company.

Working on a neighbouring property and got my walk way all dirty and left without cleaning it. I don’t recommend them at all.
