I was always nervous about getting a dog trainer because I feared being judged or made to feel like I was doing everything wrong. But working with Ryan has completely changed my perspective. He is the opposite of what I expected — kind, patient, and incredibly understanding. We’re currently working on my dog’s reactivity and building his confidence, and I’ve already noticed real improvements in his behavior. I can't recommend Canine United enough. Extremely professional and knowledgeable, helped nip all our puppies behavioral issues in the bud. Also teaches a lot of tips and tricks for everyday dog life. I always initial had some doubt how easy Ryan made corrections sound, but what he's able to show and teach seems like a miracle.

The best experience for us. I needed Ryan to assist in prepping my 165lb mastiff mix for a houseful of people, children and adults. He provided lots of training tips and how to setup the house, meet and greet, feeding area. Everything needed for success. This is not the first time I have utilized Ryan's expertise. He has assisted us with leash training, greeting or not, door behaviour. So much. It is a pleasure to have confidence when I walk my dog.

I highly recommend Ryan to anyone with a dog! After having dogs my entire life, I’ve discovered I truly knew very little about the dog’s actual world. Our family poodle was having some issues with our kids and it resulted in a bite. Ryan was recommended to us and I’m so glad he was. Within 2 weeks of our first session, we can see the relationship changing between our dog and kids. The change in our dog and the confidence the kids have now knowing what they should do is amazing. We are working on bigger and better things! Ryan explains things simply and uses demonstrations to show you clearly. He is kind and compassionate with difficult situations (like a dog biting a kid). We’ve got our next session booked!
