We visited G&T Book Café in Summerside while stopping with our RV on a Sunday. We were looking for vegan options, and this place popped up. They had plenty to choose from, we ordered the pho, a salad, and a red bean bun. Everything was so delicious, and the service was spectacular. They even helped us find a place to park our 24 ft RV. We also enjoyed walking around their store and picked up some beautiful cards made with the quilling technique. Highly recommended, especially for anyone looking for vegan options!

The food here is always so good and fresh. The owner is very pleasant and also entertaining while he serves the food. The pho is great and I haven't found an appetizer that I haven't enjoyed! Keep up the great work!

This is a small family run spot with the best Vietnamese food I've had in PEI. Service is excellent and the owners make you feel very welcome and are so friendly. I live in Charlottetown, but always drive to Summerside for Vietnamese food. My family ate and loved: pork bun, pho with meatballs , fried rice vermicelli with shrimp, fried rice noodle with beef (crowd favourite) & hot Vietnamese coffee.

BEST food on the island! We’ve been to several locations on the island and this is the best restaurant hands down. The food is so fresh, high quality and very flavourful. FOOD: We ordered: •A6 fried shrimp •J4 Fresh spring roll vegetarian •J5 vegetarian fried rice vermicelli •J7 small pho noodle vegetarian •Chili oil •Vietnamese coffee •Green tea Favourites: J7 small pho noodle vegetarian - This is absolutely delicious. Such a comforting and flavourful soup. And even the small size is huge! J4 Fresh spring roll vegetarian - These rolls are unlike any other. Thy have tofu skin and mushroom inside and the peanut sauce has a deep umami flavour instead of the usual sweet peanut sauces. They don’t make the rolls during busy time because they do take a while to make. They were the last items we received from what we ordered. Chili oil- They make this in house and it’s delicious. We bought extra to take home with us. It’s so nice to have many delicious vegan options here! SERVICE: Đài was a wonderful waiter. He explained how the dishes are carefully prepared and how they ensure the freshest ingredients. He is such a friendly and warm person! AMBIANCE & EXTRAS: The restaurant is together in one big room with a little store selling art and cards and books. You can read the books there or you can buy them for $5 each. The only downside is that there is no patio or outdoor area to eat outside. We would’ve loved to bring our dog but it wasn’t possible. Will recommend this place to anyone going to the island or living there. We will keep coming back! Thank you.
