Tyler MackelburgerTook my van here for a transmission. They said they dropped the pan and inspected and saw metal flecks in the fluid, charged me $140 for that. They quoted me $6700 for a new one and $7900 for a used one. Guy said they $4000 new and I bought one new from O'reiley's for $2300. Took it to a different mechanic and that mechanic said the pan hasnt been dropped before. Indicating they didnt inspect it the way they claimed. Not even sure I needed a new transmission now but here we are. Wouldnt recommend. *Jakob called me back and refunded me. With an explanation of what went wrong. I appreciate them for making things better. Still pretty sure someone said they dropped the pan. Doesnt matter too much though, they are honest and seem to hold to their word
Mike SweetingI had a oil change and tire rotation scheduled on April 7th. I had a coupon for a $39.99 full synthetic oil change. Good deal right? I return in 45 minutes to pick up my 21' Jeep Wrangler and my Jeep is already finished. Awesome! I go in to pay my bill and the says that will be $96. I thought he was joking. I said "ok" and laugh. The counter guy says, "No, it's really $96.." I asked, "Why is the price so high? How much is the tire rotation?" He said "$50". My tires are 33x17 btw. He said it's a large tire up charge. I've never been charged $50 for a tire rotation. I've never been charged more than $20. Long story short, I complained and the shop manager reduced the tire rotation to $25. I thought that was pretty sketchy. I don't know yet if I will ever go back there.
