Bob DayBob Day

September 22 I received a mumbled voice message saying my appointment was canceled because my authorization days had expired and the company would be moving and relocating on the first level of the building. Moving that’s a surprise. I was never told they were moving after weeks of visits it was never stated. But the worst was that I was scheduled to use my approved authorize sessions on dates so far out that they were beyond the expiration date of the referral. When I called to get clarity on both circumstance, the party on the phone, the same gentleman that left a voicemail Left me on hold for over six minutes while he stated he would get someone to explain more. They never came to the phone. I hung up. I called back to get clarity and then again it was confirmed one they are moving. It was a surprise to me. The party even had a nerve to ask me weren’t you told No.. The second issue about me losing some of my treatment days because I was scheduled for appointment so far out and the party who scheduled those dates didn’t pay attention to the referral and the expiration date. But the worst of all was that they try to flip the responsibility back on me stating you get the same documentation that we received about your Approval. Yes I got the same documentation for my insurance company stating to me how many days I was approved for . The Business has the referral of how many days are approved for and the timeframe that those treatments must be done in. Let’s be clear any professional business that does this on a daily basis. It is your responsibility to track that to make sure the client stays inside of the frame for treatment. you would need to ask yourself why did you even book me that far out knowing ! right knowing it would be beyond the expiration date. The only explanation I can come up with is that you didn’t check for the expiration date you’re just booking OK! that is a responsibility of the facility and a lack of professionalism and adherence. As a business you lose money for those nontreated days that were wasted. And as a patient, I lost treatment opportunities. I don’t work for your company. This is not my lane. Professionalism you receive the document. It’s your responsibility to make sure that you’re getting patient treated inside of the timeframe. You need to pay attention to that, you eat that you dropped the ball. Then you’re moving and this is the first time I even heard of it And there’s a wait time in the transition before you can schedule for treatment so it’s on hold for at least 2 to 3 weeks really it’s now being taken over by Gbmc. OK good to know. I’m disappointed from a business perspective, and as a treating client perhaps under Gbmc , The practice will get a little more professional, more inherent and receive help and some of those areas that are lacking.

Jennifer & Becky are awesome!!! Jennifer took excellent notes , asked questions & advised me of the next steps to come. She provided me with an ultrasound & heating pads. Becky asked me every visit how I’m feeling, provided exercises for home & had me perform exercises to strengthen my knees & thighs during my visits. It’s my 3rd visit & im feeling better. Thanks Jennifer & Becky & yes I recommend Md care for physical therapy 😊😊
