Was on wait list for a cleaning, got an appt that worked out perfectly for our travel plans! Hygentist does a great job! Dr Bergeson is the BEST Dentist I’ve ever had!

I just called to schedule an appointment for my kiddo using my dental insurance through my work. Was asked if he had any other insurance, which he has supplemental medicaid. After a brief hold I was informed that he could not be scheduled because they don't take medicaid. I said, that is fine, we can just use his in-network primary insurance and I will pay the copays. She said that they don't do that and she can refer me somewhere that takes medicaid. I told her that I have seen plenty of providers using just my primary insurance, so it is possible. She informed me that it was "against the rules here". So, they discriminate against people on medicaid and won't even schedule them using their in-network primary insurance. Is this even legal? I'll be finding out.

Not only is the six month cleaning a good experience, their emergency process is a good one. I broke a tooth and needed immediate attention. I had to wait almost two hours, but they fit me in. Got X-ray, assessment, AND treatment, and was out of the chair within an hour. I knew what the cost estimate was (and it came in under) before treatment so informed and prepared. The office staff is friendly, compassionate, and helpful. I’m so thankful this practice takes Medicare and I can continue to go there.
