George's Garage Doors

Lynna and George were great. I used them previously on our old house. They were my first call for our new house. We ordered way ahead of time and they stored them for months for free. They gave us a great price for high quality Garaga doors. They turned out looking spectacular.

A little over a month ago I searched the Wakefield Community Page on Facebook to find recommendations for a garage door replacement. Someone mentioned George's Garage Doors. I've never heard of George's before but decided to give them a call. Lynna came out the next day (on time) to take measurements for a quote. I received the quote the next day - it was very detailed and, honestly, seemed like an extremely fair price. I paid the 50% deposit and was given a 3-4 week estimate for the materials to arrive. Lynna emailed me 4 weeks later to schedule the install. George and two others showed within the 3-hour install window and did an amazing job - they explained how the new opener worked, how to maintain the rollers and springs, and left my garage cleaner than when they arrived. I couldn't be happier with the experience. George and Lynna represent everything good about small/local businesses. They could have cut corners on this job by not replacing the existing tracks or could have given me a higher estimate since my existing garage door was in such bad shape, but they didn't. They even give back to the community, they are currently distributing school supplies for anyone in need.

We used George's Garage Doors for the first time in November 2024 to replace a very old door on our detached garage. They were super responsive, helped us understand the framing modifications required prior to installation, provided an estimate in a timely manner, and completed the work without issue. Great work by nice people at a reasonable price. We will definitely consider using them again!
