I contracted with Christian Brother roofing to replace my roof. The roof was supposed to be installed with a power fan. But the crew installed a ridge vent instead of the power fan as the project was not overseen by a project manager who was supposed to have been on-site (per their pre-installation video). This was performed in early June. Days after it was installed, my husband went into the attic to see if the power fan was installed because we could not hear it turning on. As he pushed up on the attic insulation door, it touched the open wire that was left behind from the old fan which resulted in a massive spark. If that were his head as opposed to the attic insulation door....it was absolutely neglectful and careless. I reached out to the project manager to ask him to come by to discuss the power vent because he did not reach back out. He noted at this time that the power vent was not installed. He said they will come by in two days to fix the issue which should take 2 hours. No one came by, I reached back out over half a dozen times to figure out when they will be coming back to fix the power vent. 11 weeks after the date of the roof install - still no fix. I'm sure within the past few weeks, one could have found a 2-hour time block of sunshine to repair it correctly. I would not recommend.
