Customer experiences
still the best knife shoppe in the city. can’t be beat. as much a museum for all the best things one might want or need. plenty of options that won’t break the bank. and if you’re like me and have an affinity for cute lil things they got plenty so stack up. bring a baggu.
It was very busy when I went but someone still came over and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! She made a make shift spot for me to test the knives and narrow it down to the one I wanted. The shop has more than just knives. It has glasses and dishes and also offers knife sharpening. Though I didn't buy any dishes I did see some in there that I liked! The sales rep mentioned a knife fair where they would be giving away a knife!! I fly back to Texas tomorrow so sadly I won't be able to partake in that. If you are in search of a kitchen knife for home or for work I highly recommend checking out Korin!
I have shopped online on their website in the past. It was my first time visiting one of their stores. Amelia provided exceptional customer service. She went above and beyond; she was polite, friendly, considerate, and personable. She made my shopping experience an extremely pleasant one. In addition, I had the opportunity to watch Vincent sharpen a knife right there in the showroom. I am so glad I was able to observe a knife sharpening master in person (it is not the same as watching a video online).
It was super crowded when we happened to go (during the weekend the week before Christmas) but the selection of bowls, cups, plates, serving plates was very nice. Compared to the website organization and the showcase had a varied display. I feel the website doesn’t do the selection of stoneware style items justice because the top items online are all the plain white items. Many items are reasonably priced (total for the two sauce bowls I got were under ten dollars) and there were some specialty items that were more expensive. They have a large selection of knives too. Checkout was a bit slow but a person had come over to help us. There is an upstairs and downstairs but associates are required to visit the upstairs area.
