I called this place hoping to donate furniture in good condition with some wear. Lady on the phone told me the woman who runs the place is “very particular” and the furniture must be pristine. Strange

I am so happy to be part of this God’s given project. I am a volunteer in this organization and I am working with worn, pleasing and loving people I thank God for the Owner mummy Betty and her helping sweet mummy Curling. All of the staff and volunteers are sweet to work with. God bless us all To all those who are giving and providing for the smooth running of this dream God bless us all I really thank God for this vision and I am happy I am part of it today My family and I have been blessed through your gifts and blessing, we are grateful to you all God richly blessed everyone

I went there for help and I could not believe the disrespect from Betty. She talked shit about me and 2 other people in the span of 30 minutes. I was waiting patiently the whole time and she went around the corner and said about me, " she's lucky she's getting food for free, she needs to sit there and wait." She came to me and said "You need to sit down and wait." I was standing for a minute because of my disabilities so I said "I am waiting." She said "no you need to sit down and wait." As if there was a sign that said nobody is allowed to stand and stretch by the waiting chairs if I'm not in anyone's way. She was very rude. And then a deaf woman came in and she said to her black coworker that had an accent, " She sounds funny because she's deaf, you sound funny because you're foreign." When is it okay to make rude remarks about disabled and black people?? I would rather starve than come back here. So disappointed with her.

I don't know exactly what it is. Imitation of help or total disregard. It was not from a good life that we applied to this organization for help. We got an appointment in three months. I know it's normal, maybe they're busy. So they call, they offer to get us groceries for Christmas. We think that's great. A month in advance we agree on the time, during the month I called several times and clarify whether everything is in force, we clarify the time and date. The date is approaching. My wife and her friend arrive and the Christmas miracle doesn't happen. The "appointment" time is a live line of people that the workers keep outside in the winter. Cholos must be freezing, I guess. After waiting for 2 hours, it turned out that the working day was over and we were offered to come another day, apparently not enough standing in the street. Why do you need "apointment" is not clear. Why they call you once and clarify the time, if there is a live queue is not clear. In general, the situation is like this. I do not want to give an assessment of the situation, personally we are upset and do not plan to recommend this organisation . The visibility of the activity, it is such.
