This was a great store to stop by. They had a lot of ethnic items from multiple different cultures. I would have a leash up here again. The store was clean and people were helpful. All the fresh food was time stamped and smelled so good.

04/15/25 I purchased $50 worth of live blue crabs, which had a strong sewage-like smell. The cooked meat was mushy and had a potent unpleasant odor. Given the potential health risks, I will not purchase live blue crabs anymore. 01/08/25 Summer rolls were spoiled by 11:25 AM. I would have preferred fish sauce to peanut sauce on the shrimp spring rolls. 04/24/24 A Vietnamese pork sandwich caused stomach issues. Unlike traditional BBQ pork sandwiches, the pork was sliced, boiled, and pressed. I will avoid this preparation method. Clear labeling on the wrapper is necessary. 04/11/24 I wasted $70 on rotten fresh durian. See attached pictures. Updated 03/13/2024 The ripe mangoes I purchased were unsatisfactory. See attached pictures. ========== Lam’s Seafood is highly regarded as one of the top Vietnamese grocery stores in the area. The store usually offers a wide variety of fresh produce, vegetables, and seafood. I have consistently had positive experiences with them, except for a single incident involving the purchase of blood clams. As the seafood department was about to close, I approached a Hispanic employee to inquire about the availability of blood clams and specified the quantity needed. He subsequently retrieved a bag full of blood clams from the back. Upon completing the payment for the blood clams, we left the store. When we arrived home and began cooking, the clams emitted a strong unpleasant odor. About 90% of them were rotten. My wife chose not to eat any, and I sampled a few before throwing the rest away. I then took the leftovers back to the store. A Vietnamese employee was kind enough to provide a refund for the unused or discarded clams. This experience taught me that it is best not to purchase so-called 'live' seafood unless it is visible. I appreciate the variety of seafood items the store offers and their customer service. However, the 'On Sale' crabs can be somewhat of a gamble. I have seen other customers select crabs with all their legs and claws intact, while I ended up with crabs missing legs and claws. To be honest, I am just glad that the crabs I purchased still had some legs.

Lam's Seafood Market is my preferred store for all my Asian grocery and produce shopping needs. It's not that far away from me and their selection is really big and the produce is always amazing and so good. Which is when mango season starts. The meat selection is also really really good.

The employees at Lam's Seafood Asian store are very helpful, friendly, and professional. They helped me find the chili crisp, they also helped me find the Sesame paste. I forgot my eyeglasses, when I went for them, they kept telling me where they had put them. I got my eyeglasses 🧐back because they saved it for me. 😊 They are well organized. I really appreciate their help!
