We had an excellent 11-night stay at Golden Sands Hotels & Apartments Sharjah. Our room, 2303, was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a large living room. The daily housekeeping service ensured that everything remained spotless throughout our stay.||The staff was professional, courteous, and efficient, making it clear that they truly know how to run a hotel. The location was highly convenient, with plenty of dining options, grocery stores, and barber shops nearby. The Sahara Mall, located directly opposite the hotel, was perfect for shopping, and the pedestrian bridge beside the hotel made crossing the road effortless.||Overall, our experience was fantastic, and my kids absolutely loved staying at the hotel.||Tip: If you're taking a taxi to Dubai, avoid Sharjah taxis and save AED 20 by walking into Sahara Mall, exiting through the Dubai-side entrance, and catching a Dubai taxi from there. It’s a simple trick that helps reduce travel costs!||Would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!

We had a wonderful time the whole week. The staff are all wonderful especially Alex, he was so helpful and professional, very good customer service. The apartment was clean, we liked it because we have small crawling babies so it was very important for us. The location of the hotel is perfect. We will definitely stay there again.

The hotel in Sharjah left a great impression! The staff is very polite and attentive, and the service is excellent. The only suggestion is to add more variety to the kids’ menu. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Avoid Golden Sands Hotel !!! I strongly advise against booking Golden Sands Hotel. My wife and I (with our two toddlers) had a terrible experience that exposed this hotel’s unethical policies, misleading advertising, and complete lack of customer care. They scammed us out of $855.56 by refusing to cancel a mistaken booking, despite acknowledging that most guests try to cancel after seeing the reality of the hotel in person. First, the hotel’s online photos are completely misleading. They show happy, smiling white people in a luxurious and glamorous setting, making it seem like a high-end Western-style experience. That is not the reality at all! Ask them to post pictures of the actual surroundings and you will see they will refuse. When we arrived and realized the mistake, we immediately tried to cancel. The staff initially told us it was possible but then shifted responsibility to Booking.com. After a long back-and-forth with a Booking.com representative (who also said cancellation should be possible), the hotel flat-out refused. We even proposed a compromise—staying just one night and canceling the rest—but they denied that too. Instead of working with us, they kept blaming Booking.com. This was convenient as it enabled them to escape all accountability. Here’s the most shocking part: the hotel openly admitted that they could have canceled the booking if we had booked directly with them. In other words, they treat Booking.com customers worse while charging the same price. That’s predatory and unfair. What kind of business operates this way? A hotel that values scamming customers over fair treatment. A hotel that knows people want to cancel after seeing it in real life yet refuses to accommodate even reasonable requests. We never stayed in this hotel, never used any of its facilities, and still lost a huge amount of money. The least they could have done was show some sympathy, but instead, they chose to squeeze us for every cent. If you’re thinking of booking here, don’t fall for the deceptive marketing. If they treat paying customers like this, imagine how they handle complaints. Save yourself the stress and book somewhere with actual integrity. Trust me, there are much better places.
