I had a terrible experience and will never use this service again. They charged me $60 to deliver my package to a PO Box, only to inform me that they couldn’t deliver to that address. To retrieve my package, I had to pay additional fees. Their system allows you to enter a PO Box address but then refuses delivery, which is incredibly misleading. This ordeal was a complete waste of time and money. I strongly advise against using this service. 0 starts will be more proper. :(

I had a very disappointing experience with Goorooship. I carefully measured and weighed all of my luggage and boxes before shipping—actually putting in slightly higher weights to avoid discrepancies. Despite this, I was hit with unfair “extra care” charges after delivery, with the explanation that my standard luggage and carry-on supposedly couldn’t go on a conveyor belt. This is not true—my items were delivered exactly as they were shipped, with no sign of any special handling. When I raised the issue, I received generic responses with no real proof or documentation from Canpar or Goorooship to justify the charges. It feels like hidden fees being added after the fact, which is very unfair to customers. I would caution others to be very careful when using this service. Make sure you document everything (weights, dimensions, photos) because additional charges can show up without proper explanation.

As a small business owner, I am extremely disappointed with Gorooship and Purolator. They lost 4 of my packages, representing a significant financial loss, and instead of helping resolve the issue, they closed my Goorooship account without explanation, all while the matter was still ongoing. I was told I’d receive a call with updates yet again, no one ever called me back. The only communication I’ve received is evasive and unhelpful. It’s incredibly frustrating to be treated like this after years of loyalty and trust in this company. As someone who runs a business and relies on reliable shipping, this situation is not only unacceptable, it’s damaging. I will be sharing my full experience publicly to warn other small business owners, because no one should have to go through this level of stress and neglect from a major shipping company.

Stay away! Take your time when choosing a shipping broker. Your waybill is NOT between you and the shipping company/courier that you choose (ups, FedEx, etc..), it is between you and goorooship. This means, if there is an issue with your shipment (lost, damaged, additional charges, etc..), you're trusting them to resolve with the courier on your behalf. YOUR waybill is between them and the courier so you're at their mercy if they decide to do nothing, which is what they do. - In our case, we were charged a shipping overage that was twice the amount of the original shipment without so much as an explanation. - Package dimensions and weight were exact and recorded. - A goorooship "support person" called Jashandeep provided Zero explanation and charged us more than twice the amount we originally paid to have the item shipped. The charge is now with visa disputes team. Do your research before using these guys as they're the ones who actually manage communications between you and the courier. You have no authority because the waybill is between them and the courier, so your reliant on their non existent support that might as well be based over seas. Good luck.

Goorooship is a shipping service.
