I highly recommend reading the 1 star reviews and googling Dr. Mark Lansdell’s other ratings online before choosing him as your dentist. What seems to have happened to other people in the past has now happened to me. Mark ruined 2 of my teeth and left me in pain for months unable to diagnose the fact that he hit nerves in both of the teeth even though I saw him twice for follow ups. It seems he’s very willing to diagnose root canals when they’re not necessary but when he causes the damage he’s blind to that. I switched dentists and got a very expensive root canal and have to save up for an expensive crown now too and am also patiently waiting for the nerve damage on the second tooth to heal because luckily he didn’t completely destroy both teeth. I haven’t been able to chew on the left side of my mouth for 3 months now because of Mark.

Had a cap replaced by Dr Shen. First rate work as always. I have been using her services since she was in Cambridge. When she moved to Guelph I moved my dental to Guelph. She has put in a couple implants for me that went well. I have huge trust in her which is why I travel to Guelph for dental.

Dr. Lansdell’s is very thoughtful and thorough. In my first appointment he took the time to walk me through photos of my teeth and explained everything, and allowed me to ask any questions I had. I felt included in the process and did not feel like just a number (or set of teeth). I was impressed and I felt cared for and welcome. Every member of his team was very friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel the same. This was consistent in all my subsequent appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Lansdell and his team to anyone looking for a dentist.
