Customer experiences
WOW. This is the best meal I've had so far in KC and by far the best service. Dishes are tasty and presented beautifully. You order small dishes and they are brought out in the exact order they should be. We were presented with fresh plates and silverware three different times between our 6 dishes and dessert. Very intimate setting. It was an amazing experience.
We went here for our anniversary and they made sure we were well taken care of :) They have a pretty good wine by the glass list and more if by the bottle. The food is really interesting and plays on multiple textures and tones, it tastes as good as it looks! Would really recommend for nice occasions or if you’re a foodie!
I had an amazing dinner at The Antler Room in Kansas City. We ordered a wide range of dishes and enjoyed nearly every bite. Favorites of the night were the honey roasted carrots—sweet, smoky, and beautifully prepared—the crispy, flavorful pork belly, and the unbelievably good shokupan. The fried calamari, tortellini, radiatore, and pan-fried skate were also well-executed. The farfalle was my least favorite—it wasn’t bad, just didn’t shine like the others. For dessert, we had the grilled pound cake, which was out of this world—warm, buttery, with the perfect char. The pavlova was also good—light, sweet, and a nice contrast. Overall, the service was excellent, the space was intimate but lively, and the entire evening was perfect for slow-paced conversation and sharing plates. Highly recommend!
We had an excellent dining experience here — one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. Every dish was seasoned beautifully and the execution was technically spot on, showing real skill in both preparation and presentation. We tried the Celery & Fennel Salad, Shishito, Winterfrost Wagyu Striploin Tartare, Mushroom Manti, and Pan-Fried Skate Cheek. The standout favorites were the Celery & Fennel Salad and the Wagyu Tartare — both dishes were vibrant, well-balanced, and memorable. The tartare in particular was a knockout, with layers of flavor that kept unfolding bite after bite. What impressed us most was the consistency — every plate was thoughtful, creative, and dialed in perfectly. This is a restaurant that clearly cares about both flavor and technique. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an elevated yet approachable dining experience.
