Our experience with Grand Renovations was overall disappointing. Communication was poor from the start, mainly due to non-English-speaking workers and an unreliable supervisor, Himal. A major issue arose with the flooring, which had to be redone entirely. Instead of taking responsibility, Himal was dismissive and unprofessional, repeatedly justifying mistakes by saying, "But I gave you the best price." We never asked for a discount—we had already obtained quotes from other companies and chose Grand Renovations based on what we believed was a reasonable price. The project is now complete, which is why I am giving three stars, but working with Himal was frustrating. After the flooring mishap, we felt we couldn't trust the quality of work, requiring frequent visits to check on progress. We initially chose this company because of their positive reviews, but now I am starting to wonder if they are genuine. Even though I am glad that the work is finally done, the overall experience was stressful and disappointing.

The key wins which sets them apart from the rest is their understanding of customer needs and giving solutions to make it work. The whole team is so helpful, on time and trustworthy. Himal’s knowledge in this area is very extensive and always ready to guide and help you across all your renovation needs. So you can expect appropriate and honest opinion without any selfish motives. In-house renovations are challenging but if you get to get through from these guys, it will be seamless experience. With the end result, we feel it was worth the hassle and every dollar spent.
