Goodness, I went here yesterday and was disappointed. Firstly, I told nail tech I wanted my cuticles done and she didn’t even touch them. Then she didn’t use a base polish, just did 2 coats builder gel which was odd. And it was applied awfully uneven, all my nails have this weird dent. Then I checked out and they charged me $80 for a gel manicure then added a $5 removal charge bc I came in with a simple gel polish. Never have I ever seen a salon charge for a removal when you’re already paying for a manicure. I had them remove it but they were insistent that it’s normal (it’s not). So yeah, paid over $90 for a poorly done manicure without even any cuticle work. Never again. What a rip off.

I want to start by saying this review isn’t entirely negative—my first visit wasn’t bad. I originally came in after an appointment at a nearby salon fell through, and although the work wasn’t perfect, the staff treated me kindly and made me feel welcome. I appreciated that and even tipped $40 despite the results, because their hospitality made a difference. However, today’s experience was completely different. I asked Nina to remove one of my nails and replace it with a new one. She insisted on just filing it down and applying an overlay instead. I asked her three times if she could achieve the shape I wanted (I usually get a full set for this exact reason—I don’t like how fills turn out). Despite her reassurances, the shape ended up not only being off but also crooked. When I asked for it to be corrected, she was unwilling to accommodate and called over someone else. That’s when “Billy BA" stepped in, and things went downhill fast. He expected me to hold my foot in an awkward position while clearly rushing through the service. When I refused and asked for clippers so I could remove it myself, his attitude escalated. He rolled his neck, got snippy, and told me to pay for my son’s service and leave—as if I was causing a scene or trying to get out of paying. Ironically, my son’s service cost less than the tip I usually leave. I remained calm the entire time—I wasn’t rude or loud—I just wanted my service done properly. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning . If you’re particular about shape, detail, or quality, this may not be the place for you. Once you speak up or ask for adjustments, they make you feel like you’re the problem instead of valuing you as a paying customer .
