Grand Park City Hall

The hotel looked very classy from outside when I got down from my cab. As I made my way inside, I took time to locate the reception desk, which was in the shape of a metallic rhinoceros. The entire lobby area looked very interesting. I was quicky checked-in and given the keys to my room.|My room was a deluxe executive room, and it was quirky, but tastefully decorated. The room was small in width, but was very long. I really appreciated the style in which the furnishing and fixtures were done. Everything was extremely clean and well put together and all amenties and comforts were adequately provided.|Some points should be noted however:|1. There was no person outside the hotel, or in the lobby to assist with bags. I was not carrying much luggage, so it did not matter to me, but there should ideally have been someone from the bell desk to assist with guest luggage.|2. The hotel does not provide in room dining. I forgot to read this detail on the Marriott website and I found out when I felt hungry later at night. The hotel encourages guests to order using Grab if they wish to eat.|3. The walls of my room were quite thin, and I could hear much of the noise from the adjacent rooms.||These aspects aside, this is a remarkable property. My breakfast in the morning was wonderful. Further, their jazz and whiskey club has incredible amience, and they have live music from Thursday to Saturday. Sadly, my stay dates did not coencide, however, I definitely plan on coming back and enjoying a stay at this property over a weekend in the near future.

Generally was a good experience as I managed to check in early and only waited in the lobby for awhile. Forgot to bring my bank card to be put on hold but it was okay. The room was really small, as all boutique hotels usually are. I saw this body milk and it seemed expired past its prime been many years so I didn’t dare use it. Everything in the mini bar is chargeable. What I didn’t like was that I wasn’t able to change the two breakfast to a dinner instead as I was staying by myself. They didn’t have that option when I was booking on trip. I also feel that shavers should generally be provided to everyone without asking. Breakfast option was really scrumptious. Overall I enjoyed my stay!

My absolute favourite hotel in Singapore! The hotel itself is gorgeous, and the vibe is unparalleled - we had so much fun hanging out and chatting with the staff, trying the whiskey flights, and listening to the jazz at the club. We stayed in the suite and it was worth every penny! I had the best sleep of my life, and enjoyed a dip (or two) in the tub. I'd also like to thank Jennifer for her service - she was a true jem and made our trip feel so easy and relaxing. Thank you for making our little getaway so memorable! We will definitely be returning!
