Taking my child 20 minutes out of town to drop off a new child first instead of dropping off the children closest to the school. Instead of having 1 child dropped off 10 minutes later, they are dropiing off half a dozen nearly an hr later. Zero common sense
Special needs service person “Americano “ doesn’t like to return calls what so ever. I called him 3 times today left messages no response. When he does happen to call doesn’t leave a message.
STSWR in the past has been great. However this year (september 2024) has made some incredibly terrible changes. Every day this year the bus routes have been awfully laid out. What was once smooth and efficient has been turned into chaos and confusion. Sending drivers incorrect route information and overloading schedules have made everyone from teachers and students and drivers lives to be far more difficult and stressful than what was needed to be. This can also cause more unsafe travel and risk lives all because newly hired self entitled kids with no experience that think they know more than those who have been doing this for decades have been given the reigns with no guidance. I get there are other factors at play as well with new drivers (not at the fault of stswr) but, these new hires like to pass the blame onto drivers and coordinators for their mistakes which is unacceptable. To these new hires I say "don't try to fix what isn't broken, and give consideration to whom your choices may affect." Lets get young egos in check and work together to get this corrected.
