I switched to this off of MLK about a year ago. At first I was hesitant because I wasn’t allowed back with my girls, and was very worried as my youngest is autistic and doesn’t do well in a new place without me by her side. However, the warming and loving embrace that came from the main dentist I noticed my daughter lean towards her and was comfortable enough to go alone. My other 2 girls as well get seen at this office. The waiting area is always clean and organized, fun movies to watch for the kids ( not cnn) and we never wait more than 10 minutes before getting called back. The staff so far as been very nice and professional and my daughters love coming here. - The Ruiz Sisters

I’ve never had a bad experience at Great Expressions until today. I had an appointment at 3 pm, I showed up on time and they took me 1 hour and 15 minutes later! They gave me no update on wait time. They were simply short staffed. Another lady waiting in the lobby said she had been there for 2 ½ hours for her scheduled cleaning! She just left! Once, they took me back, the lady who did my cleaning seemed very flustered and rushed. I was just here for a cleaning, the lady poked the outside of my cheek with a an electric grinder brush before cleaning, thank goodness it wasn’t on! She would’ve cut my face open. She was going so fast, she cut into my gum and it so painful. She would only run the suction attachment after she complete my entire mouth, I almost choked! She was moving so quick and hit me in the head with equipment and got water on my neck, didn’t even try to clean it up or offer me a paper towel. My appointment was at 3, I left at 5 pm! Absolutely horrible. The place looks run down and not clean. I will take my business elsewhere. UPDATE TO MY REVIEW 1/27/25: I decided to go to another dentist after my unprofessional experience at Great Expressions Dental because I didn’t trust them. At my new dentist, they told me I had no cavities and my insurance hadn’t been updated in over a year! So Great Expressions Dental was somehow not updating my healthcare plan! Where was my money and information going? Also the last time I came here the dentist (in November 2024) told me I had two cavities, I went for a second opinion at my new dentist and they told me my teeth were just fine. This place is fishy and I’m so glad I stopped going and never agreed to having my ‘cavities’ removed. Beware!

Dr. Martine is the very best! She has a beautiful combination of professionalism and caring that has really impacted me. I have struggled for a long time leaving my home but I look forward to going. As she is so uplifting and the sweetest person I have come across in the medical field, she truly loves what she does and it shows. She is so dedicated and does an amazing job! My teeth have never looked this good. She goes above and beyond. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Dr. Martine. I only want you for my dentist.

I called to make a dental cleaning appointment for myself. When I arrived, the receptionist said that was a pediatric dental appointment. My original appointment was cancelled two weeks ago because of hurricane Milton. However, I never received the notification phone call so I went on the day of appointment and the office was closed. I waited 2 hours in the office for the new appointment just to get X ray done. Dr. Escobar told me that he will not do a regular teeth cleaning without deep cleaning. I have never met a dentist refused to do regular teeth cleaning in my past 20 years of seeing dentist. I will not recommend this dental office to any one.
