Great selection of sketchbooks, pens and other art materials, couldn’t ask for more really. However what I feel really lets the store down is the staff’s attitude to helping customers with questions about art supplies. I’ve been to this store almost every week to try out and experiment with different pens and books, and every time I have asked a question to the staff it feels as if they’re reluctant to offer assistance, as if it is a chore for them to give any help, with blunt responses to my questions and general rudeness. I feel the staff don’t actually know what they’re selling, I’ve had some pleasant experiences from a few staff members but it’s a shame that most times I feel let down by the customer service, the staff behind the till are usually very friendly when processing payments but any time I request assistance I feel let down. And having been to almost every art shop in central London I can confidently say that the customer service here is really not as good as many of their competitors such as cass art or some independent stores. However don’t let that put you off coming to this store, the selection of equipment is great, just make sure you do your own research first as I don’t expect you’ll get much help from staff.

Really not impressed with the service I received from Great Art London. I purchased 15 sheets of A2 coloured card, for use in a Wedding visitors book I was making. When the items arrived they had stickers on them all which left large ugly marks. There was not indication on their website that they would be delivered with these marks. When I contacted the store, they told me that's how they come and I had to pay for them to be returned if I wanted a refund. They were not prepared to arrange for pick up and were extreemly rude on the telephone. I live 300 miles away from the store so unable to return them myself.
