Stuart JohnsonLarge spacious cafe bar in the South Gate. Lovely decor and atmosphere with subtle lighting, spacious and airy. It was early when we went, so it was still quiet, but I am sure it gets very busy at times. The jug of water and water glasses was a nice touch. Coffees and breakfast were lovely, well presented, and tasty. Classic Breakfast at £12.25 was good value and lovely. Service was friendly and attentive and efficient. There is an outside terrace, which would be lovely in the summer. Will pop back again to try lunch or dinner 😁
SiriPopped in to catch up with an old friend. She chose the Cosy Club in the city of Bath as she was a regular there. I gave them another chance, as on the last two occasions they were let down by the service as she was very pushy, rude and rushed even if we were only two tables in the whole place at lunchtime. This visit was much better! We had two bottles of NZ Sauvignon Blanc between the two of us with 4 small plates. We spent almost £100 in total. I wasn't impressed with the starters at all. Very tiny or small as described, the taste was okay with nothing to write home about or returning soon based on food. The service was good this time, we felt relaxed, and they left us enjoying our time! Or perhaps it was in a bar area. All in all, we had a lovely time here with good company! My friend recommended breakfast here.

Min ZhangI had an amazing lunch at Cosy Club in Bath today! I ordered the Butcher's Brunch, and it was absolutely delicious — you could tell it was crafted with real care and attention by the chef. It was my first time having pork belly in an English breakfast, and it was a delightful surprise — beautifully roasted, tender and melt-in-the-mouth, rich but not greasy at all. Even the baked beans were special, cooked with spicy chorizo, adding a unique and flavourful twist. My friend had a burger, which was equally delicious — juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavour. It’s rare to find an English breakfast with such thoughtful details. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a creative and satisfying meal in a cosy setting!
